Tutorial on Affective Virtual Humans and Social Robots

In this tutorial we will first present the fundamentals on the theory of emotions. We will discuss the realisation of dialogs with memory process, and also show current research on recognition of gestures and emotions. The second part of this tutorial is focused on the modeling of reactions on Virtual Humans and Social Robots. We present case studies with the humanoid Robot Nadine.
